The QU-7 supports full multitrack recording directly to USB-C and SD card, offering up to 32×32 channels at 48kHz or 16×16 at 96kHz. This means you can capture live shows or rehearsals without needing a separate recording rig or DAW, which is ideal for touring engineers, educators or content creators. The USB-A port also allows stereo recording or playback and can be used to transfer scene files or data.
For larger systems, the 128×128 SLink port connects to Everything I/O stage boxes and expanders, giving you remote input and output control across long distances. Remote mixing is fully supported using Allen & Heath’s free MixPad and 4You apps, available on iOS, Android, Windows and macOS. This lets performers manage their own monitor mixes and gives engineers wireless control from anywhere in the venue. These features make the QU-7 a powerful solution for mobile rigs, installation systems, or modern digital workflows needing remote flexibility.
